“Calista Case is a radiant, contemporary-seeming Laurey. She is tough without being fierce, bantering without being nasty, and romantic without giving up her independent nature.” WAMC

“Some [praiseworthy elements] are as obvious as Calista Case… with a sassy, expertly-sung turn as Laurey.” Times Union

Calista Case is a New York City-based actress recognized for her vulnerable storytelling and vocal prowess. Calista is a Bluegrass girl raised in Lexington, Kentucky and a recent graduate of NYU Tisch Drama’s New Studio on Broadway.

Calista is not afraid to take up space—She has a passion for modernizing the classic musical theatre woman, bringing a bold, grounded presence to roles too often trivialized.

When not on stage or screen, Calista can be found playing her mandolin, writing comedy, or taking a [solidcore] class.
